Google doubles down on ‘AI phones’ with its Pixel 10 series

Google has launched the Pixel 10 series, focusing on AI capabilities that set it ahead of Apple’s iPhone 17. Building on Pixel 9 innovations like Gemini Live, image-generation tools, and searchable screenshots, Pixel 10 enhances user interactions with AI.
Gemini Live now facilitates conversations five times longer than text. New features include Visual Overlays, Magic Cue, Camera Coach, Voice Translate, Take a Message, and Pixel Journal.
Visual Overlays allows the AI to assist using the camera, while Magic Cue offers proactive suggestions across apps. Camera Coach guides photography, Auto Best Take finds the best shot, and Ask Photos edits photos with AI.
Voice Translate provides real-time multilingual translations, Take a Message transcribes voicemails and suggests actions, and Pixel Journal tracks goals and offers reflections.
Additional improvements include Gboard AI writing tools, Pixel Studio screenshot enhancements, and Notebook LM integration with Recorder and screenshots, powered by Tensor G5 and Gemini Nano.
